Meet Jamie — Founder & Artistic Director

My story began in 2003 — with a cosmetology license, a dream, and a deep love for the art of beauty. Since then, I’ve built a well-rounded career spanning more than two decades in the ever-evolving world of hair and artistry.

What began behind the chair has grown into a lifelong pursuit of education, innovation, and connection.

Over the years, I’ve trained under some of the industry’s most respected artistic directors and platform artists — including Ted Gibson, Jason Backe, Jo Blackwell, Kimmarie Sclafani, Min Kim and Nancy Braun. These experiences shaped my approach to both technical precision and creative artistry behind the chair.

For the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated my craft to mastering advanced color techniques as a Master Colorist at Timothy Pamment Salon, where I cultivated deep client relationships built on trust, transformation, and artistry.

My career has also spanned education, brand management, sales, and social media. I’ve had the privilege of working with leading companies such as Four Star Salon Services, L’Oréal Professionnel, CB Sullivan, SalonCentric, and DePasquale Salon Systems, and I also served as L’Oréal Professionnel’s Brand Manager for the state of Connecticut in the education sector.

The natural next step in my journey is the creation of Mystic Salon & Head Spa — a space that embodies everything I’ve learned and loved throughout my career. A salon that blends luxury, wellness, and artistry, elevating the guest experience and redefining what scalp-to-strand luxury truly means for a beautifully balanced life.
